It’s all been said and done before
Thursday, February 26th, 2009However many marketing conferences belt out the same future gazing yawn fests one thing remains true – someone somewhere has thought it and said it before you.
I think it might just come down to the fact that the things that never change are people and behaviour. As technologies emerge all around us they only ever reflect or become useful/popular because they help fulfil those many unchanging human attributes.
New technologies just whip up old questions.
I spotted this quote in the Rodchenko exhibition in the Tate Modern. It pre empts Nike + and more to the point every ‘utility’ conversation by about 88 years.
