Work.

Head of Production

We make advertising. Advertising that manifests as a diverse range of things; words, pictures, websites, film, apps, rumour, console hacks, social clothing, kinetic statues and mind-reading headsets.

We don't know what will come out of any particular brief, let alone what we'll be making this time next year.

It makes our jobs creatively stimulating and rewarding, but it can mean producing work is more chaotic than it is ordered. We are looking for a Head of Production to help manage the chaos and liberate the people and suppliers that produce the stuff, to do so in a way that makes us great work AND money.

It's not an easy job, but as the person responsible for the engine room of an independent agency, it is an incredibly important one.

LEADERSHIP
A technical and creative curiosity to make the best and most unlikely ideas a reality. You'll be building a team of crack producers that know how to get the job done. Irrespective of what this job might be, the agency is looking to you to make things happen.

TECHNICAL
Having a working knowledge of the technical world is essential and will allow you to understand, resource, plan and manage properly. Plus you'll know when lazy freelancers are pulling a fast one.

You'll know your HTML from your JS, CSS, PHP, .Net, Python, SQL and Objective C. You may even have some previous coding experience.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Our agency process can differ for each project. You'll need to embrace this and then use your experience or knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and other methodologies to make the agency more efficient. You'll benefit from your experience of big tech-driven projects AND smaller, more nimble campaigns.

RESOURCING
Who needs to do what and by when? You and your team will never stop thinking about this eternal quandry. You'll have a tireless dedication to fitting people-shaped resource into idea-shaped holes.

SUPPLIERS
If the idea demands it, we will outsource parts of a project to specialist freelancers or suppliers. You need to manage this process, ensuring we get the best people our budget can buy working for Lean Mean Fighting Machine.

SPIRIT
You don't know all the answers or have experience in managing the type of ideas we're going to throw at you and your team. But, you'll have the spirit, diplomacy and resolve to figure out the best way of heading up the team that manages projects of all shapes and sizes.

Senior Developer

You will be expected to be more than just a brilliant developer. You will need to be a leader, responsible for growing and managing a small team of back-end developers. You will be responsible for instilling best practices, defining tools and choosing frameworks. You will also be the agencies system administrator and architect.

Your development skills will be predominantly back end, specialising in LAMP, but you will have a wide ranging knowledge of languages and environments which may include Python, .NET, C++ and NodeJS. You'll be a creative and enthusiastic person who will contribute to the development of ideas and have a strong desire to bring them to life.

Senior Interactive Developer

We're looking for someone with an inhuman attention to detail, someone who enjoys creating finely crafted work and is a natural problem solver. You will be expected to be more that just a brilliant developer. You will need to be a leader, overseeing junior members of the team on projects. You will also need to be flexible, communicative, approachable and always able to see the bigger picture.

Your development skills will be predominantly front end, specialising in HTML, JavaScript and CSS. You will understand the importance of interaction and might have come from a Flash or games background. Any other skills either server side or mobile would be a bonus.

You will be expected to answer technical questions, interrogate ideas, oversee testing and carry out technical scoping. Most of all we want you to be excited about the work you do and be fully involved throughout the complete project lifecycle, not only technically but also creatively.

Junior Developer

We're looking for someone with an inhuman attention to detail, someone who enjoys creating finely crafted work and is a natural problem solver.

You will be expected to be more than just a developer, the job won't be for you if you like to get your head down and hide. You will be expected to contribute to the creative process as well as the tech process.

The role will be focused on front end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. But it's not what you do know, it's what you will know. Work hard and you will grow into a key member of the team.

Design Director

One that doesn't mind inheriting an already talented dept and then making it bigger and better.
One that is comfortable with making the standard of craft, interactivity and general beauty of the work so strong it punches the other partners in the face.
One that wants to help us make work that competes with the best out there, not advertising, everything else.
One that has a GSOH and is DTE, no time wasters please!
