The Photographic Adventures of Nick Turpin
Samsung
The Samsung Pixon's 8-megapixel and fast operating camera meant people no longer had to miss out on those spontaneous moments in life; when your phone is too slow, or too low-res to capture them.
To really dramatise the spontaneous shots the Pixon was capable of, we hired a street photographer: Nick Turpin for a 28 day journey.
Nick posted his first photo on his website at the beginning of October 2008. The public could click anywhere on that photo. The part of the picture that got the most clicks then became the subject for the next photo.
It was a right pain in the arse to do, everyday meant we were starting from scratch with a new topic and deciding where to send him to get the next shot. But if you don't have some risk in your work, it's wallpaper.
Although, this slightly wanky advertising point, wasn't taken so enthusiastically by Nick after 28 days of being messed about by the public.
