The rules were simple: people register their Twitter profile picture (with arms aloft) and tweet #twexicanwave to join the current wave. If that wave becomes the longest one by the time the competition finishes, they're in with a shout of tickets to the final. If someone tweets #twexicanwave without a registered picture, the wave is broken and a new one begins.
